Nick Abendanon extends contract with Clermont until 2020

ASM Clermont Auvergne have confirmed the re-signing of Nick Abendanon until June 2020.

The 31-year-old arrived at the club in 2014 and was voted best European player in his first season with Clermont.

"The game Nick practices fits perfectly with the idea of Rugby that we do with my staff," commented Franck Azéma.

"...Since his arrival, he has taken his place both in the field but also in the locker room where his leadership is growing. He has also shown an interesting versatility by being able to evolve with the same level of performance both on the wing and the rear."
