Munster lose Saili for 4 months with injury

All Blacks centre Francis Saili has been ruled out for up to four months because of a shoulder injury.

“We got a setback with his shoulder. He went in for a scope yesterday but there was some more repair work needed. It’s going to be an extended lay-off. It wasn’t great news but it is what it is,” said Munster director of rugby Rassie Erasmus.

Saili initially suffered the injury last season and will miss the opening months of the Pro12 as well as the first two rounds of the Champions Cup.
