McReight to bring up 50 caps against England in London

2026 John Eales Medallist Fraser McReight will bring up his 50th cap for Australia, named to start at openside flanker against England at Allianz Stadium Twickenham on Sunday afternoon local time.

He’ll form a new look back row with Jeremy Williams named at blindside flanker while Harry Wilson will again captain the side at number eight.

Len Ikitau returns to the team having missed the last Test under HIA protocols, reigniting a midfield combination alongside Isaac Henry who will play his first Test in the United Kingdom.

Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii returns to the venue of his Test debut back in 2024, named on the right wing with Max Jorgensen on the left edge, while Tom Wright will start at fullback for the 10th straight Test.

ACT Brumbies teammates Ryan Lonergan and Declan Meredith will start in the halves, while Queensland Reds Josh Canham and Lukhan Salakaia-Loto are the run on lock pairing.

Angus Bell returns as the starting loosehead prop, combining with Billy Pollard and Allan Alaalatoa in the front row.

Taniela Tupou is back in gold for the Test which forms part of the new Nations Championship tournament. He’ll be part of a substitute front row alongside Josh Nasser and Isaac Kailea.

The experienced Rob Valetini and Carlo Tizzano will provide the remaining forward cover, with Tate McDermott and Ben Donaldson the replacement halves. The versatile Filipo Daugunu rounds out the matchday 23.

Wallabies Head Coach Les Kiss said: "The entire squad has travelled well and prepared with fantastic energy and excitement heading into this weekend.

“Playing England on their home turf - at an iconic venue like Twickenham - is a massive challenge and another great opportunity for us to test ourselves against world-class opposition and keep building our game."
