Launchbury out of Ireland game

After consultations with the England medical team, it was decided that Launchbury is not yet fit to take to the field against Ireland in Round 3 of the Six Nations this Saturday. He will return to his club (Wasps) for further treatment on a hamstring injury.

Courtney Lawes (Northampton Saints) joined up with the squad late last night as a replacement.
