The Melbourne Rebels have announced back-rower Josh Kemeny has re-committed to the Rebels until the end of 2025.
Kemeny’s re-signing further strengthens an impressive back-row, rich in depth and experience, both at the Super Rugby and International level.
A former Australian Under-20’s star, Kemeny signed with the Melbourne Rebels back in 2019, making his professional debut during the Rebels’ Round 1 Super Rugby AU clash against the Brumbies.
After five starting appearances in his maiden season, Kemeny would feature in ten matches in 2021 before later suffering a devastating ACL injury, sidelining the popular Clubman for the next twelve months.
After making his return during the Club’s season opener against the Force in Perth, Kemeny has become one of the Rebels’ strongest performers this year, making ten appearances including nine starts, while also scoring three tries - a career-high.
