Kefu in stable condition after surgery

After surviving a brutal attack during a home invasion in his Brisbane home, current Tonga coach and old Wallaby legend Toutai Kefu has undergone surgery and is in a stable condition in hospital. 

A 15 year-old boy has since been charged with attempted murder after Kefu, his wife, son and daughter were all injured in the attack in the early hours of Monday morning. 

Kefu’s other daughter Olivia posted the following on social media: 

“Both Josh and Dad had their surgeries yesterday and are recovering well. 

“Thank you to everyone for all the kind messages and support, it means the absolute world to us all.” 

Olivia’s sister and mother are both due to undergo surgery on Tuesday.
