Italy name their side for the 2024 Summer Nations Series

The technical staff of the Italian Men's National Rugby Team led by Gonzalo Quesada have announced the list of players called up for the meeting scheduled in L'Aquila set to take place from June 19th in preparation for the 2024 Summer Tour.

As anticipated in the previous announcement of the pre-list, thirty-three players will meet in the Abruzzo capital to begin preparation for the three summer Test matches which will see Italy face Samoa, Tonga and Japan in July.

There are three uncapped players in the sqaud, who are: Zarantonello, Odiase and Gallagher - at the first meeting with the Italian Senior Men's National Team, while Mey - as well as the guest Montemauri - has already had the opportunity to work together with the staff led by Gonzalo Quesada last January in Verona in preparation for the Guinness Six Nations 2024.

The national team will travel to Auckland, New Zealand move on Saturday 22 June which will be the Azzurri's base for the first part of the Summer Tour. After the first two test matches on the calendar against Samoa in Apia and against Tonga in Nuku'Alofa set to take place On July 5 and 12 July. The Azzurri will then fly from Auckland to Tokyo on 14 July where they will begin the march towards the third and final match in Sapporo, Sunday 21 July, against the hosts Japan.
