Full time: Wales 54 - 9 Uruguay
Wales opened their 2015 Rugby World Cup campaign with a convincing 54-9 victory over Uruguay, which puts them top of Pool A on points difference. Uruguay showed great determination early on, taking the lead for the first 15 minutes of the game before Samson Lee scored Wales' first try.

Unfortunately for Uruguay as the game progressed, fatigue began to kick in and really effect their performance. A number of holes started appear in their defensive line and the flood gates opened for Wales, who scored 8 tries in total.

While Warren Gatland will be impressed with his sides performance, the number of injuries his side received in this fixture will worry the head coach.

Man of the Match. Cory Allen.  Allen impressed in his World Cup opener, scoring a superb hat-trick within the first half. As well as scoring 3 tries and securing the bonus point for his country, Allen also had a 100% tackle success rate. Unfortunately, the centre was carried off the field after 51 minutes with a possible hamstring injury, which is worrying for Wales.
