Lets look at home the French players performed.

STARTING XV

15 Thomas Ramos 9/10

If Ramos kicked the 2nd conversion we would have given him 10/10. The fullback was solid under the high ball and turned Ireland around with his "Outside of the foot" kicks.

14 Theo Attissogbe  8/10

The French winger was excellent on attack and threw a out of this world offload early in the 2nd half where France almost scored a try. He crossed for the home side's 5th try.

13 Nicolas Depoortere 8/10

Do you remember Jacque Fourie who played for the Springboks? Depoortere was the same tonight. Closed down Ireland's attack on the outside and only went forward when he had the ball.

12 Yoram Moefana 7,5/10

Moefana left the field in the 49th minute. He was solid making 26 meters from 9 carries

11 Louis Bielle-Biarrey 10/10

Is there a better winger in world rugby at the moment? He scored 2 tries and every time he got the ball he beat an Irish defender. 10/10 for him

10 Matthieu Jalibert 8/10

Magic, magic, magic. It must be a joy to coach him. His offloading game was on point and got his backline going.

9 Antoine Dupont (captain) 7/10

Nothing flashy but solid. A slap down when Ireland was on attack was not his best moment but his kicking from hand was 10/10. He will only get better as the tournament goes on.

8 Anthony Jelonch 7/10

Work horse. That is what Jelonch was tonight. No offloads or 20m runs. He latch work around the breakdows was good and he got through 16 tackles.

7 Oscar Jegou 8/10

The number 7 got through 15 tackles and 7 carries. Excellent game from him

6 Francois Cros 7/10

The number 6 played 62 minutes and was a like a small bulldozer. He was all over the park, linking up with his backs making meters.

5 Mickael Guillard 10/10

Man of the match Guillard was excellent. He deserved that award 100%. He made a mess of the Irish lineouts and for a second rower made 46 meters.

4 Charles Ollivon 8/10

The veteran was like a young buck. Full of spring and energy. Togerther with Guillard they made a mess of the Irish lineout. Ollivon also carried very well.

Dorian Aldegheri, Julien Marchand and Jean-Baptiste Gros 8/10

All three of them left the field in the 49th minute. The were very strong on their own scrums and did not give Ireland easy ball of their own. Marchand was accurate in the lineouts

SUBSTITUTES

16 Peato Mauvaka 8/10

Light on his feet as always, he tried things and one should give him credit for that. A great asset to have on your bench.

17 Rodrigue Neti 7/10

Solid in the scrums and made 9 tackles.

18 Regis Montagne 7/10

Same as Neti. Did not go backward on his own scrum and he made 10 tackles

19 Hugo Auradou 6/10

No standout moments from Auradou but you don't need it from him. Got around the park well.

20 Emmanuel Meafou 8/10

The Giant! In his 30minutes, he made 7 tackles and 3 carries. Not huge numbers but every tackle and carry was huge.

21 Lenni Nouchi 8/10

Nouchi had a decent 18 minutes.

22 Baptiste Serin N/A

Only played 8 minutes.

23 Kalvin Gourgues 8/10

Played for 30min and wow is he one for the future. Nice break down the right and linked up well with Depoortere.
