Dan Carter unlikely to play in Rugby Championship

Dan Carter could be set to join a growing list of All Blacks ruled out of the Rugby Championship.




Assistant coach Ian Foster said today Carter's recovery from a broken leg was progressing as planned, but suggested a lack of match fitness will count against a test comeback before November's end of year tour.




"I doubt we'll see him in the Rugby Championship," Foster said today.

"He's on track, but we'll see how we go over the next week or two.

He'll certainly be coming back to play some rugby soon, at some point.
