It started tight with Conor Murray getting the only try of the first period, with some clever play to pounce on a loose ball a metre from the line. Anthony Belleau kept it tight with a penalty and drop-goal, before the break. Keatley scored his second penalty to extend Munster's lead in the 2nd half, before Ashton went over to take the lead for the team from the south of France. Two Trinh-Duc penalties made it look like Toulon had claimed a semi-final berth, until Conway performed his piece of magic to get the win for the home side.
