Callum Braley re-joins Cherry & Whites on short term basis

Former Cherry & Whites scrum-half Callum Braley has rejoined the Club on a short-term basis.
Braley, who made more than 100 appearances between 2014 and 2020 before moving on to join Benetton Rugby, recently returned to Gloucestershire following a short spell with Saracens last season.
With injuries impacting the back line, the scrum-half has been training with the Cherry & Whites in recent weeks and has now been registered for the Club’s upcoming fixtures.
Braley is available for selection for Friday’s PREM Rugby Cup clash against Sale Sharks at Kingsholm.
Director of Rugby, George Skivington, said:
“Callum reached out and offered to come in as a training body and help where he can.
“He’s an experienced player and a budding coach, so his analytical eye has been invaluable on the training field, but he still feels he’s got something to offer on the pitch as well.
“Mikey Austin has picked up a knock, Tomos Williams is away with Wales, and Rhys Price and Rio Ebanks have been out on loan, which is important for their development. Registering Callum to manage that has been really beneficial.”
