The Blues' hopes of snapping their dismal losing streak has suffered a blow with captain Jerome Kaino unfit to play.
Suffering from a concussion sustained in their loss to the Lions on Saturday, the All Black enforcer has been replaced on the blindside by Luke Braid, who takes over the captaincy, Brendon O'Conner has been named on the openside while flanker while Steven Luatua completes the loose forward trio at No 8.
