Bayonne and Toulouse to kickstart Top 14 2023/24 season

The Top 14 returns tonight with champions Toulouse aiming to get their 2023/24 Top 14 campaign on a great start against Bayonne at Stade Jean Dauger.

The last four meetings between these two teams have been split evenly with two wins apiece and all four matches have been decided by five points or fewer.

Toulouse have taken a blow with Ntamack being on the sidelines following an ACL injury. The side, however, has had a squad boost with the arrivals of Nepo Laulala, Baptiste Germain, Simon Renda for their 2023/14 season.

Bayonne, who finished 8th last season, also have quite the boost with backrow Arthur Iturria, Clermont's Cheikh Tiberghien, diving into their 2023/24 fold.
