Edinburgh remain unbeaten in the URC
- 132
Edinburgh maintained their unbeaten start to the United Rugby Championship season with a convincing 31-10 victory over the Lions at Hive Stadium on Friday evening. In difficult, wet conditions, the Scottish side took control after a tight first half, with Matthew Currie opening the scoring before Mosese Tuipulotu and Harry Paterson crossed after the break to put the hosts firmly in command.
The Lions responded through Hlekani Batho, but Edinburgh continued to find space in attack, with Paterson completing his brace and Geordie Gwynn adding a late try to seal a comfortable win. The result keeps Edinburgh at the top of the URC standings, while the Lions will look to regroup after a challenging week following the tragic death of teammate Hyron Andrews.
