Alberto Sgarbi named Benetton Rugby captain for 2019/2020

Benetton Rugby has announced that Alberto Sgarbi will be the captain of the club for the 2019/2020 season.

He arrived at the club in 2006 at just twenty years, the same year he won the first Italian Super Cup and the end of season championship.

In subsequent seasons, Alberto went on to win two national championships in 2008/2009 and in 2009/2010, an Italian Cup in 2009/2010 and a second Italian Super Cup in 2009.

Having distinguished himself always on and off the field, Alberto is about to begin his fourteenth season in the Benetton Rugby jersey and has made 227 appearances.
