@Chris, @Adam, @Paul, absolutely right! Hayward not Nemani with the kick in the last minute! 19-18 to Force in the end.
The ball squirts from the scrum, and Force scramble to collect. They manage to secure the ball and clear it into touch, signalling the final whistle. Frenetic, high pressure finish to an entertaining game of rugby. Highlanders hang their head after another frustratingly tight loss. Credit to a determined, passionate Force side to reclaim their lead. The star-studded Highlander side depart Perth with another miserable result and will make preparations for their battle against the Blues next week, whilst the Force will welcome the fearsome British and Irish Lions! Thanks for joining, see you next time!
Last penalty was force.
Who won? It's saying on this highlanders and on super 15 site saying western force
Think it was 19-18 force
Nemani looks to make up for his error with a terrific run following the kick-off. They sweep the ball left, before zipping the ball right to exploit the overlap. But Slade loses the ball as he tries to move it wide, and the possession lost on the stroke of full-time.
A moment of madness by Nemani cancels out Slade's penalty, when he tackles Hayward late!
Highlanders pick up a penalty when Force are pinged for incorrect entry at the maul. Slade steps up to steal the lead but the connection is poor and the kick swerves wide. Two minutes later, a tough call against Force (a high tackle) gifts Slade with a second chance. This time the ball sails over from 51 metres!
The visitors build their way back into the opposition twenty-two, but the try-line eludes them once more. They do pick up three points though, when a Force player fails to roll away.
Highlanders look to build the phases but Alcock turns over possession and the Force clear down-field. Highlanders come away with nothing.
