Well what a game this turned out to be. A final score line of 38-30 is evidence enough that both sides gave it all they could and pulled out all the stops to provide us with great rugby. Really good flowing rugby play from both teams as they took advantage of the perfect conditions as we were treated with a rake of tries. Freddie Burns stook his head out with a good performance as he tries to regain his starting spot in the Gloucester side and Twelvetrees along side him also played very well today. However it was a day for running rugby and the back three on both sides profited with great attacking rugby form the back with Helu and Varndell peforming the best. However it was big man Nathan Hughes who was the definite stand out today who had numerous breaks and gave London Wasps some really good go forward ball. Wasps now move into that 7th spot in the table and if they can hold on will give them a chance at Europe next year. Well a big thank you from everyone here at Ultimate Rugby for joining us here today. Bye for now!!
