Why do Wales play four autumn games?
Different team next week , thank god
To sum it up, in all honesty, that was one of the worst games of international rugby we've laid eyes on. Nevertheless its a win for the Welsh side and Warren Gatland's troops will now look forward to the visit Australia next weekend. Some quick stats for you all, 90% territory in the second half, not a single point scored by Wales. Granted Tonga put in a good shift on defence but Wales will know they should be heading home with a 20 point plus win. Really poor stuff at the ruck in particular with Lloyd Williams having to go digging for the ball at every breakdown. Do that next week against the likes of Hooper, Moore and Fardy and Wales will be blown away in the contact area. Thanks for sticking with us, we know it must have been tough on times. Hopefully you all enjoyed the experience if not the game. Until next time folks.
What a terrible game
Final pass goes astray and the clock has gone red. THANK GOD
Wales get a pen for crossing and Rhodri Williams goes quick. Ball goes through two phases but once again Wales are turned over at the ruck. MOTM Charteris gets it back though and Wales are back on attack up the shortside.
Ball lost for Wales and Tonga now on the attack just around halfway
Sweet Lord!! Worst half of international rugby I've seen in a long time! #walesvtonga
Scrums still causing a massive problem late on. This time its a head-on-head call and Tonga get the free kick. Go quickly and Tonga clear their line just shy of halfway. Welsh LO to restart
Beck hits a hard line off the scrum and Wales get the penalty at the ruck. Quick tap taken. Ball needed to go wide but was kept in tight through AWJ and Tonga hold up the man. Tongan scrum on their own 5m.
