Manasa Saulo though what a player! He'll be getting a fat pay check from a top 14 club no doubt
I'll take that win with a 5 day turn around from England to Fiji, created 3 other good try scoring chances but failed to take them. Set piece was a massive worry, the scrum needs Lee back! Cuthbert cannot play I'd rather have Lloyd Williams, Gatland has made a mistake there trying to let him play himself into form, currently the team are carrying him.
Can't see England losing two tests on the bounce will be a narrow win for them that will give them 15 points (assuming a 5 point win against Uruguay) & enough to see them top the group
Agreed. They are actually very good when they do play their stuff, some matches during the 6N as proofs. But playing at the highest level, you need to have the ability to handle pressure, n because of some of the fans n most of the media, its almost as if theyre in a pressure cooker. It is worth noting that both aus n wales are ranked higher than england.
*guaranteed
I mean as an example, The Telegraph runs an article on 14 of the top men who will be sacked if England don't win. Robshaw being undermined for a call that was probably the right one, at that point in time...Hindsight is such a wonderful thing. England didn't put a bad effort in at all, Wales just out played them in the last 20. I might be proved wrong on Saturday, but there is a horrific amount of pressure on the English team that undoubtably has such a psychological impact. It's a tough group, you would think by the way the English papers and their fans talk about it, they had just lost to Namibia...None of the the teams there ever had a QF place.
Can you expand on that Jon?
The English are their own worst enemy, fans and press laying into their squad has done more damage than good I reckon.
So england are the only team able to get a bonus point win over fiji hmm
Agreed Tony.
Exactly tony
