A very interesting first half we have had here at Ravenhill and what a brilliant display from Ulster after Jared Payne being sent off after 4 minutes. People will have different opinions on whether it should of been a red card or not.It was a dangerous and Wreckless tackle from Payne on Goode but he did not have an intent to injure Goode on purpose, but referee Jerome Garces took his time in making his decision and decided to send him off. it got worse for Ulster when Best was forced off with a foot injury and it looked like Pienaar would not be able to continue with a shoulder injury but he carried on and got three penalties for the Ulstermen. Saracens midway through the half put a move together with Ashton going over in the corner to give them the lead but Pienaar and Ulster had the last laugh with 2 penalties before the break. This game is still all to play for and the 14 men of Ulster are 40 minutes away form a memorable win but Saracens will have a lot to say in the second half as they hope to turn things around and take advantage of their one man advantage.
