Here come the teams
The Sunwolves welcome the Hurricanes to the Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground for what will be their first meeting in Super Rugby, in addition to that it will be the first encounter for the Sunwolves against a team from New Zealand. The Sunwolves in the past have only managed one win and one draw in four starts on home soil. The Hurricanes have only one in of their last six opening Super Rugby Fixtures and that was against the Lions in 2015. Nonetheless both sides will be looking to get their respective campaigns off to positive starts by giving a good account of themselves in this opening game. The match will be officiated by Egon Seconds who will be taking of his very first Super Rugby fixture.
Go go SUNWOLVES!
