Byrne gets the second half underway for Leinster, taken by Hendrikse who clears, Byrne runs it back

Leinster take a 17-14 lead over the Sharks into halftime. The Sharks missed two early penalties, with Leinster opening the scoring with a try 16 minutes in. The Sharks hit back with a score midway through the half to level matters at seven apiece. Leinster edged ahead with a penalty and then ran in their second try five minutes from halftime to open up a 17-7 lead. The Sharks responded with their second try with the final play of the half to trail by three points at the break.
