Cipriani narrows the gap once more with an easy penalty. In front of the posts, 20m out. The score 13-16 as JP Doyle whistles for half time. It's been an interesting first half with the scoreline reflecting what is a competitive game. A very opportunist try, orchestrated by young out half George Ford, saw Bath take a very early lead. A resilient effort from the hosts has seen them get back within 3 - Jennings the scorer for the Salford side. Hopefully the second half will bring with it a more clinical edge. Unfortunately the first half was dogged by poor handling errors. Stay tuned!

Great defence from Sale, just as it looks like Bath are going to score another try. Sale clear up field

Ford extends the lead to 6 after Sale are penalised for hands in the ruck. Crowd not pleased with Doyle's decision there

TRY SALE - Sale initially lose the ball from the 5m scrum but somehow manage to regain possession following a successive knock forward. Mark Jennings bundles over the line as Bath's defence is left in ribbons

Woop woop!!!!

@RichardKing A late hit on Cipriani, see main feed for further details!

It looks like Bath's scrum is under significant pressure here and there are a number of resets

What for?

A perfect restart from Cipriani is beautifully collected by Paterson and Sale march towards Bath's line. The visitors very much caught off guard there. The ball is held up over the line and it'll be a scrum to Sale. The crowd's voices can finally be heard

Hi Ben!!
