Black Ferns lose Lolohea and du Plessis

Black Ferns hooker Atlanta Lolohea and midfielder Amy Du Plessis have been ruled out of Saturday's match against France.

Lolohea sustained an ankle injury at Thursday training, while midfielder Amy Du Plessis has been diagnosed with delayed concussion.

Justine McGregor (midfield) moves into the starting line-up, while Vici-Rose Green (hooker) and Ayesha Leti-I'iga (winger) have been named on the bench.

Prop Mo’omo’oga Palu also sustained an ankle injury at training this week. Capped Black Fern Pip Love (tighthead prop) and Holly Wratt-Groeneweg (hooker) join the squad from today as injury cover for Palu and Lolohea.

The Black Ferns play France at Semenoff Stadium, kicking off at 3.05pm NZDT, in the second match of the WXV Global Series, supported by the New Zealand Government’s Events Boost Fund.
