Montpellier infringe at scrum time, offering O'Connor another shot at 3. The ball drifts right and wide.

TRY MONTPELLIER - Jonathan Pelissie gets his sides first try of the game! The TMO initially called in to confirm but the clarification process doesn't take long. The speedy scrum half converts his own try

Excellent phase of play their for Toulon, they gain more then 40 metres, orchestrated by Giteau and Mermoz, before MP are penalised for offside. James O'Connor to have another shot at the posts

TRY TOULON - Excellent hands from Wulf sees David Smith race over in the corner, side stepping Lucas Dupont to finish with style. James O'Connor adds the extras with a beautiful strike from the touch line

Another penalty to the Montpellier in the same position and this time they attempt a kick at goal.....Pelissie misses right to leave the scores 0-0. The scrumhalf will be disappointed with that

The away side win a penalty and they opt for the scrum once more. Interestingly, they don't go for the posts

We've made our way down the opposite end of the field and its a put in to the scrum for MP, 5m from Toulon's try line. Excellent attacking platform for the visitors

Rudi Wulf is penalised for double movement as he crosses the white wash, excellent try saving tackle from Jonathan Pelissie.Toulon looking very dangerous out wide with their star studded back line demonstrating their prowess

Atmosphere electric as per usual in Stade Mayol

Matt Giteau gets us underway here in Toulon!
