Full time 28-16 Perpignan. There's no doubt that Perpignan were the deserved winners as they controlled the play in virtually every facet of the game, scoring 3 tries in the first half. This caused them to sit back for periods of the second half and in doing so allowing Montpellier creep back into the game. An almost second string Montpellier showed signs of bravery at times and refused to give up. A mention for winger Timoci Nagusa for his strength displayed in scoring his sides only try.
