Northampton have muscled they way into the hosts 22m, ref gives the advantage and so they try a dink to send Pisi over. Kick goes astray and we go back to the penalty which is kicked to the corner
The visitors win the scrum penalty and put boot to ball as they find touch on the halfway, Saints continue to be on the offence
Or is it just old fashioned "scrum discipline"?
Question for UR, are the field conditions a factor in the scrum?
Saints have the put in to a scrum just outside their 22m, both packs are getting frustrated with each other as the pack is re-set a couple of times
Not as often but lineout pull downs are hardly ever deliberate tip tackles that result in cards, card resulting tip tackles are more often then not a player lifting another player then purposely dropping/ pushing his head/neck towards the ground. Clear intent to hurt or injure in this tackle nothing else, lineout pens for pulling should occur more often but many pens are players pulling arms away from the ball not someone pulling a man at the full height of a lift and pulling him to the floor onto back/neck or even head like many tip tackles are. Pisi tries to put his head on the floor end off a yellow because he's held onto him and biggars saved himself could have been a red to some refs but luckily the TMO and ref agree it could have been worse
Saints set up a maul, looking impressive as they approach the halfway. Ospreys do very well and turn over ball and are awarded a penalty thanks to Alun Wyn Jones
Wales best winger scoring against Wales best team... Again
Beck spills possession handing the Saints a scrum and opportunity to clear
The home side in possession as the are gaining yards inside the Saints 22m
