Well what an absolute belter of a game this turned out to be. This game had everything. Red Cards, Yellow cards and most importantly some cracking rugby. It was the definition of play-off rugby. Leicster came out with all guns blazing in the first and absolutely dominated with Tualagi and Morris the stand out players in the first half. Leicster made the most of every chance they had in the first half as they had a clinical nature about their attack that the Saints simply lacked as their error count mounted with multiple knock-ons. However the second half was a completely story and turned this game on its head. Saints came out and really hit the ground running with an early penalty and they never looked back. Some brilliant second half kicking from Myler put the saints in all the right positions to get some much needed field position and much of the second half was spent by the Saints attacking in the Tigers 22 which really took its toll on their defence as George North finally broke through to score the Saints first try. Then Lee Dickson coming on meant more trouble for the Tigers as cause them some serious around the field as he energized the whole Northampton team. Finally it was the work horse himself Tom Wood who deservedly crashed over for a great team try in the corner which gave the Saints the win. They going marching on into the Final at twickenham and theyll play either Saracens or Harlequins.
