Lovely hands from Hook releases Michel to score with the last play of the day to give the visitors a consolation score, but that wont hide the fact that they were well and truly out played today at Thomond. Keith Earls named man of the match, but in truth it could have been a number of Munster men today, in particular Sean Dougall who was outstanding on the deck all day. Despite the scoreline the home side will feel they have plenty to improve on before next weeks return game, with their continuity and cohesion lacking at times. Nonetheless Perpignan have a mammoth task to turn around their performance for next week, when they welcome Munster to the Stade Aime Giral.
