Bath take a 17-16 lead over the Leicester Tigers into halftime. Bath got off to the perfect start, with a try just two minutes in to lead 7-0. Leicester then missed a shot at goal and picked up a yellow card shortly after, with Bath capitalizing on their numerical advantage with a second try to lead 14-0. Leicester managed to keep the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two penalties five minutes apart to trail 6-14. Leicester then ran in their first try with around five minutes of the half to play to reduce the deficit to a single point. The sides would slot a late penalty apiece as Bath hold a one point advantage at the break.
