Full time and Ireland come away with the win after a much improved second half. The first half was as error strewn as they come, both sides struggling to keep ball in hand despite the good playing conditions. The weather deteriorated in the second half, and ironically, the handling improved massively. Ireland looked by far and away the better side, and the crucial moment of the match came when a Gallagher interception led to a Shane Daly try of real quality.
