They set the rolling maul and tear through the Kings' twenty-two - but the ball is stripped as the line approaches, and flung wide to Gate, who sprints 60 metres before feeding Van Breda on his outside who scores! Van Breda converts his own try from out wide and punches the air in celebration. Kings need 3 points!

Kings kick for touch following the spear tackle, and begin to hammer the Lions' defences. Eventually, it's the sizeable Schalk Ferreira who bulldozes his way over the whitewash! Van Breda takes the conversion quickly from right in front, and the lead narrows to two points! Kings need a further 10 points to reclaim their Super 15 place..
