After Pienaar steals the ball from the Cheetahs on his own 5m line he runs with the ball and after a penalty is taken quickly the Lions team effort pays off with Green scoring a try.

The score is a reflection of the first half domination by the Cheetahs in both territory and possession. Lions played well in the final minutes of the half to make their way to the 22m for the Tambwe to find the gap and score under the poles.
