toner is better at the lineout then Henderson and we have a greater chance of stealing there's with him in the team and earls is not a great tackler but by looking at the team it looks like a very attack minded team rather than our slow boring game so Joe must be planning on having a lot of the ball and frustrating the french but the only problem I have is maybe madigan at 12,, henshaw 13,, earls 14 and bowe out for zebo on the bench

Henderson is the best Irish player in the tournament so far! But if we are to compete with France we need Toner. Henderson in the back row???

Yes apologies on that, Sky Sports had Payne named, physically we need to take it to the French on Sunday, Toner not that type of player so Henderson should have started as should Henry instead of O Brien or Heaslip as badly out of form.

Colm, Earls is starting at 13 which is a bit of disaster due to his defence which can be a liability against a good centre partnership, such as the French. Also, how is Toner starting...?

How the **** Smyth has kept O' Brien and Heaslip in the team when they have under performed throughout the whole tournament. Great to see Payne back in the team but Earls should be on the wing instead of Kearney. Thoughts everyone??

History would tell us Ireland are in trouble. Haven't really performed since this autumn at all. Any other coach would be getting torn apart by now. I hope everyone's faith in Joe is not misplaced, including mine. Here's hoping he's been holding back
