I've been involved in rugby, on and off the field, for over 40 years and one of the things I love about this game is that you can be rivals but still have respect for one another. By all means be passionate but be respectful. If you can't, go and support football which seems to promote this type of tribal idiocy.
Sounded like a great game but as others have said shame it wasn't on TV

A well-contested match ends with Exeter just edging Harlequins at Sandy Park with a 26-25 victory. Harlequins dominated for much of the first half scoring three tries to Exeter's one but Exeter were ahead with Gareth Steenson in good kicking form. Gareth Steenson extended the lead with a converted try in the second half but Quins hit back with Tim Visser getting their bonus-point try. Tim Swiel missed the conversion and a penalty late on but the Chiefs held on to win and temporarily elevate them to the top of the Premiership.

So Quins come away with 2 points! Not a bad day, given Chiefs are looking good this season. Shame it wasn't on TV!

Seems like a great game, there is far too much bickering between "fans" on here. I'm a Bath fan and I wouldn't lower myself to respond if someone started talking at me like that, even a Gloucester fan. Funny how "brave" people are behind their keyboards isn't it lol

Both clubs similar in a way with youth being so integral in the set up, both promoted in recent memory, and both play exciting rugby

I suspect not all are adults Adam. Not mentally anyway.......

Mark Barnbrook Nov 11

Well said Laurence, sounds like it was a great match. Well done to both sides.
