Try Exeter! Too easy for the Chiefs right now. Cardiff simply cannot handle the pace and power Exeter are showing and the scoreboard shows it. The ball is simply spun out to Fetu'u Vainikolo and he steps inside to cruise over the line. Vainikolo has been a threat all day and deserves his try. Bonus point for the Chiefs! Conversion is fine from Steenson so score now stands at 29-3 after just 30 minutes.
4th Try !
And french clubs are supposed to bad away ??
Try Exeter! 2 tries in the space of 2 minutes! Great break from Phil Dollman starts off the attack and they go through a couple of phases and winger Matt Jess spots a mismatch in defence and cruises through. Poor defence from Cardiff here. Conversion is easy for Steenson so the score is 22-3 to Exeter.
Try Exeter! Cardiff are punished for being poor at the breakdown and Dean Mumm simply picks up the ball and goes straight through the score Exeters second try. Conversion is good so score is 15-3.
Cardiff go close through Alex Cuthbert but good work from the Exeter pack to get to the ruck first and get the penalty.
Exeter are given a penalty 25 metres out after Sam Warburton was penalised for going in the side at the ruck. Easy kick for Steenson to regain the 5 point lead. 8-3 to Exeter.
Exeter are penalised for not releasing at the ruck and give Cardiff a chance to get their first points on the board. Who other than Leigh Halfpenny to step up and reduce Exeters lead to 2 points. 5-3 to Exeter after 12 minutes here.
Try Exeter! It's been coming and it's Tom Johnson who goes over for the home side. Ball comes out to him and with the support of Shoemark he bundles over the line to put his side into a 5 point lead. Steenson's kick hits the post so the score stays 5-0.
Cardiff nearly take the lead, Cory Allen goes agonisingly close to intercepting Steenson's pass but he just fumbles it forward. Lucky for Exeter there.
