Did the ref have one eye closed? Missed things from Munster and Edinburgh

Munster ran out narrow margin victors over Edinburgh in this PRO12 clash. It was a cagey game from start to finish that was littered with handling errors and poor discipline from both sides. Munster started brighter with an early try from O'Mahony, the only try of the game. Tovey kicked three penalties in the first half leaving the scoreline at 9-7 to Edinburgh at half time. The only scoring in the second half came from a Tyler Bleyendaal penalty which was enough to clinch victory for Munster and send them to the top of the PRO12 table. Edinburgh will be bitterly disappointed having gone so close, and narrowly missing a last minute penalty from long range but they will take some consolation from their losing bonus point. While the Munster performance wasn't up to scratch, they will be delighted to go top of the table.
