Three bad things about this game: Edinburgh, Treviso, and the referee

Referee Gary Conway sounds his whistle bringing this rather one-sided encounter to a close. Edinburgh were in the driving seat right from the opening whistle, dominating both possession and territory. They were rewarded thanks to an early Damian Hoyland try but began to become complacent as Treviso crept back into the game. But the visitors completely fell asleep in the second half, conceding 13 unanswered points. With 13 men left on the pitch by the final whistle, there was little they could do to prevent MOTM Hoyland from crossing the whitewash once more. All in all, perhaps disappointment from the hosts as they failed to clinch all 5 points but delight with the win nonetheless.
