Full time in this challenge cup game and Stade Francais have beaten Bucharest Wolves 13-9. Stade would have expected to leave this game with a victory and a bonus point but the game has not played out that way. The home side have shown a lot of desire and should be and a major upset was on the cards but unfortunately for them it was not to be. Stade now have their first win in this competition but you can see from their performance today that this tournament is not a priority for them. Thanks for following UR.
Bucharest will have to do it the hard way as they are down to 14 men for the second time in the game
Into the final 15 minutes and with just 4 points in it a famous victory is not yet off the cards
It has started to snow in Bucharest resulting in tough playing conditions. Both sides are making unforced errors and are struggling to put phases together
Half time here in Bucharest and Stade Francais lead 10-6. The home side will be delighted with their first half performance but disappointed in the result. After being on top for the majority of the first half they have had a nightmare last 3 minutes seeing one man sent to the bin and letting in a try in the last play of the half.
Stade end the half strongly with a well worked try from Digby Ioane
Stade finally get on the scoreboard and Bucharest now have a tougher task to keep there lead after Mototolea is sent to the bin
30 mins in and Wolves are still on top and playing with a high level of intensity. They seem to want it more but can they keep it up for thw 80 is the real question
Impressive opening 15 minutes from the home side as they have opened up a 6 point lead.
