Clearly didn't learn from the Australia game.

Exeter will be there at the end of the season but great win for bath

After a hard fought 80 minutes of rugby it's Bath that have opened their campaign with a victory. After conceding a try early on in the first half the hosts responded well to come back and win 19-17. Debutant Matawalu had an impressive game coming on as a substitute. Thank you for keeping up to date with today's game through Ultimate Rugby's live coverage.

Great game, and all credit to Exeter

Ford named man of the match.

Bath press quick in defense and force Slade's drop goal attempt to fall short. Full time.

Ball stolen by the Chiefs at the line out. Last play of the game.

Can't wait to see the highlights! Been a tight tussle!
