A promising back rower, who can also play in the second row, Godener came through the ranks at Racing 92 before joining Grenoble in 2017.
He spent two seasons at Grenoble, making 15 appearances during the 2018/19 season, including 14 starts.
Following Grenoble's relegation, he signed for Stade Francais on a three-year deal ahead of the 2019/20 season.
He heads into the 2020 Top 14 season having made 10 appearances for Stade Francais.
