Goujon was recruited to Clermont Auvergne at the age of 17 to play in their youth and development teams.

Having won the U20 6 Nations with France in 2009 he went on to earn 6th place with this side in the 2009 Junior World Championships.

After leaving Clermont he joined La Rochelle where he earned well over 50 caps and in 2015 he made a move to Bordeaux Begles.

He was drafted into both the 2015 & 2016 French 6 Nations squads following injuries to Louis Picamoles.

June 2016 saw Goujon being included into the France team to compete for the autumn tour in Argentina .

Goujon was re-selected into the France squad ahead of Six Nations 2017, where he has yet to score for France in his 9 Six Nations games.

The versatile forward did not feature for France during the 2018 Six Nations or tour to New Zealand and at the end of the 2017/18 Top 14 season he signed a deal to join Lyon.

As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Goujon has had 13 European Cups appearances scoring 1 try.
