A product of New Plymouth Boys' High School, young halfback Liam Blyde impressed the Taranaki coaching staff and earned a scholarship for the Taranaki Academy in 2015.
He has further developed his game and is expected to be included in the Taranaki squad for the Mitre 10 Cup.
