Segonds was trained at French club the Sporting club decazevillois where he spent 10 years from 2005.
He made his arrival at Aurillac for the 2016 season, and made 60 appearances, establishing himself as a strong element of the team.
In 2019 he signed a deal with Stade Francais and heads into the 2020 Top 14 season having made 21 appearances for the French side.
After 22 appearances, Segonds signed a new contract extension with Stade Francais in September 2020.
