Fergus Burke

Fergus Burke is a professional rugby union player from New Zealand who currently plays full back for the Crusaders in Super Rugby. He was born in Gisborne and attended St Paul's Collegiate in Hamilton.

Burke represented the New Zealand Barbarians Schools' team in 2017 and scored two tries and eight conversions in two games. He joined the Crusaders Academy and progressed through the Canterbury Under 19 and Crusaders Development XV teams in Christchurch.

In 2019, Burke was a member of the New Zealand Under 20 side that competed at the World Rugby Under 20 Championship in Argentina, and he made his debut for Canterbury in the Mitre 10 Cup later that year.

Burke was selected in the Crusaders squad for the 2020 Super Rugby season and made his debut in a match against the Sunwolves in Brisbane.
