Jenkins is a young up and coming rugby player who was born 05 December 2002. He is currently playing for the Premiership Rugby side, Exeter Chiefs as a lock and stands at 2.01m.

Jenkins has also represented Wales and Wales U20's. Dafydd Jenkins's father Hywel was a back-row forward who played for Swansea and Neath and both his grandfathers were rugby players too.

Jenkins has played exclusively for Exeter Chiefs in his senior career. He signed with them in 2021 and made his Premiership debut in 2022. He has also captained the side in the league at just 19 years old. He made his Wales debut also in 2022 where they lost to Georgia.

In 2022, Jenkins went viral during a Wales U20 game after he walked into South Africa's huddle to steal a bit of water.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Jenkins has been named in the training squad for Wales.
