Chris Czekaj

14th Dec 1985 1.91m/107kg Left Wing

Czekaj came to the attention of the rugby world, when, at 19 years old, he scored an amazing 60 metre virtuoso try on his Welsh Senior debut against Canada.

A product of the highly vaunted Llandaff Rugby Club, Czekaj famously scored five tries for Wales during their under 21 Six Nations campaign of 2005. Czekaj is versatile and can play either full back or winger.

Chris has been capped internationally in every Wales age group, from U16s to U21s until gaining his first senior cap, as well as a try, against Canada in June 2005.

Despite suffering a broken leg during the second test match against Australia in 2007, Chris spent the next year recovering and rehabilitating before going on to collect a total of nine international honours.

Having made over 130 appearances for the Cardiff Blues, Czekaj signed for Bedford Blues for the 2017/18 Championship season.
