One of the most dynamic props in the English game, Sturgess was born in Kettering and has developed into a quality operator in the front row. Three years at Northampton Saints kickstarted his professional career before moving to Connacht where he spent just a single year. In 2007 the prop moved to Exeter where he has become an integral member of the setup.
