Joining the Waratahs after a stint in Japanese rugby, utility back Lisala possesses a strong, damaging running game, which makes him a threat to oppositions. Originally from Tonga, Lisala represented the island nation at under 23 level before declaring allegiance to Japan after completing his university education there. After playing for Japan in the 7s format of the game as well as a successful stint at Toyota Industries Corporation in Japans Top Challenge League, Lisala is eager to experience Super Rugby and contribute to the Waratahs 2020 campaign.
